Shanna did these during last weekend:
1. Manage to flip to her back and continue to sleep after that... usually until her back is too hot and she'll make noise to wake us up to flip her to her tummy again.
2. Started to take notice of her environment, more alert now then before especially during her feeding time. Sometime, with the distraction, she wont continue with her feeding and stop drinking from the bottle.
3. She start showing rejection to the feeding as she didnt manage to finish all the milk on few occasion. We are still wondering what's going on with her.
4. She'll cry when she knows that both of us are awake and not entertaining her especially after she woke up and see us walking pass her bed. Like this morning, she cried after i greeted her with a smily in the morning then walk away to the kitchen to warm up her milk. She knows how to get our attention now. :)
5. She likes the sound "pop" especially from mummy's. She'll always smile whenever she hear that sound... :D

In church last weekend

Thanks to Aunty Li Wui who lent Shanna another Bumbo seat for babysitter's.

I reckon it is the stage of 3-5 mth old bb - rejecting milk due to distraction. I'm having big big problem with Esrene for the past few weeks. She will latch on for few min then latch off, looking at me, smiling, talking, looking around but refuse to continue drinking her milk. No solution suggested by nurse & consultants but just to suggest us to feed her in the quiet, darker place to reduce her distraction.U may try this and be ready to see some slow weight gain or lose weight due to reluctant in feeding.
Thanks for sharing, Ida. Thankfully, Shanna seems to have resumed normal feeding, we did change the teat size to a bigger one though. So we suspect she wasn't well after her vaccination. Or she is showing teething symptoms. She's got some white showing on her front bottom gums now :)
