For the past 3 months, Tim and I had dinner catered on weekdays, it cost RM235 for two persons (no choice of menu). The caterer we used was always reliable, however the taste of the food and the dishes provided left much desired. Not that we are very picky eaters. But the day we opened our tiffin carrier and found fried pork rind constituting to one dish on its own, we made up our minds that we did not like the food.
So when we received a flyer in our postbox for home-cooked catering (no ajinomoto, no coconut milk) by one of our neighbours in Pearl Garden, we decided to change caterers.
It's been two days eating Bernie's cooking. We are satisfied.
the first day we had dahl soup (forgot to mention Bernie's Indian), chilli crab and omelette. The 2nd day we had yummy fried chicken, curry eel and brussel sprouts.
Bernie is charging us Rm220 per month. The amount of food is less, but that doesn't matter.
Wondering what's for dinner tonight?
