Hello all.
Ian is approaching 6 months old. Even at this young age, his personality is coming through. He is a very smiley and happy baby. But he's also a yeller who wants his way- I want it Now. Fast. Ian loves to go 'gai-gai'. He is seldom cranky while on some excursion even if he misses his naps. He is Very Playful. Every time we bring him to clinic or hospital for check ups and immunization, we get comments on how strong he his. Tim and I get mouth/lip injuries from him banging his head on our mouth (but he doesn't show any painful reaction at all), and I've lost some (more) hair to his little grabby hands.
Ian started eating cereal at 5.5 months. He loves it! At the end of his 4 teaspoons with 2 oz of milk cereal feed, he'll cry for more. For now we top up the feed with another 4-5oz of milk. Soon I will be busy preparing more solid food meals for this little boy.
Ian has been sleeping well. He sleeps at 8.30-9pm and all the way to 7.30am with no feeds in between. As expected, he's our morning alarm clock. Well, we plan to move him to his own room pretty soon. His older sister was moved to her room when she was 5 months+ :)
Our (not so) little Shanna is still her sweet, gentle self. Though recently she has been challenging our authority and given us opportunities to discipline her, but it's part of growing up. She's a pretty good eater. No, she doesn't eat a lot or very fast, but she eats everything. She's not picky and very open to try new food. She likes noodles (favourite), she eats rice, pizza, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, loves vege & fruits too. Of course, like any kid (and like her Mummy), she loves chocolate and ice cream :) She's officially Daddy's Little Girl... Daddy and her stick together like glue every evening.
Our posts have been rather sporadic and inconsistent lately. But the fact is we have plenty of pictures and videos of our 2 lil' precious ones. So here are some more.
To our 2 little darlings, you bring so much joy and fun to our lives. Being your Daddy & Mummy is the proudest accomplishment amongst everything we have ever done and achieved!
~ Audrey
