But, overall it was a good time spent together. My little girl was such a darling at the bookstore. Some kid kept running up to her and giving her books, to which she on her own accord kept responding 'ta' (her version of thank you) each time she got a book.
The 9th day of Chinese New Year is a very important day for many Taoists. That means major fireworks here in Penang. This went on near our apartment for 20 minutes.
A special event at the beginning of this new lunar year was the baptism of Elsie, our CG member and Tim's colleague. In honor of that event which was held on a Saturday night service, for the first time in 2 years, we brought Shanna to Saturday night church service instead of Sunday morning.
Here's a picture of the gang.
Our little family went out for dinner one evening to have a little CNY dinner cum Valentine's dinner. We went to our favourite fish steamboat place which happens to be so near our house.
Posing at the entrance of the Setia Pearl Island clubhouse - Shanna the Bunny lookalike :)
We overheard a family say "How come the mandarin oranges below the bunny gets fewer each time we come? "
Without much ado, up to the restaurant.

You're looking very good Audrey!!
Thanks, Ida! We had multiple shots of her looking bunny-like... which shows how long she was biting her lower lip!
Hi Vivien, thanks! Since I don't get to wear dresses often, I maximised the opportunity during CNY :) I think I could lose some weight btw...
