Morning before departure

We left our lovely PG home on Saturday 30th Oct at around 4pm with a calling-cab. When the cab arrived, we were still packing up our stuff and he had to wait for us for another 10-15 mins. Then, when we got down, the driver was surprised by the size of our bags and the biggest one might NOT be able to load into the back of the taxi as he has a huge gas tank at the trunk of the car. Anyway, we manage to get to the airport on time :)
Shanna was tired by the time we arrived and checked in. So Audrey put on the baby-jorn carrier and let Shanna rest in the carrier while waiting for the boarding announcement.

One lesson we have learned during the flight... even though we had the privilege to go on board earlier, it's not all good considering that Shanna likes to be carry around instead of sitting. So during this flight, we went ahead of others and really learned our lesson the hard way. :)
Before the take off, Shanna was playing happily with mummy as shown in the picture below. The poor uncle beside her didnt know what's coming after the take off. :D

During take off, Shanna started to be feeling uncomfortable and started crying. It was not an out-burst at first. After 10mins or so, she showed us her never-seen-before temper and crying. Both of us were stunned and dont know what to do. Partly worry about her and partly the stewardess was keep asking us what can they do to calm her down... :)
So after 30mins of outburst, she finally too tired to continue and rested a while while mummy hugging her.
Oh ya, she got a goody bag from Silkair, which is Ben-10 puppet. Personally i dont really like it, but Shanna likes it and the part that she love most is the head. :) She'll stuck the whole head into her mouth and wet it with her saliva.
to be continued....
:)

dummies? breastfeed? just let her suck on something to ease her ear pressure. We did that when travel with Esrene last time.
She doesn't take dummies. She refused her milk/water. Also refused her porridge. Aih.
Did she cry during the descent as well.
From my previous trip , I noticed that children was crying more during descent then ascent.
My personal experience is that it only pains when I have a nose block. Therefore wondering if it would be a good solution to ensure that the child do not have a nose block?
Sucking do ease the ear pressure or blowing.
Hello Jason... we tried all means to make her eat/swallow during take off but she wouldn't. In the end she soothed herself. She didn't cry during the descent. For the rest of the 3 flights she didn't cry anymore either. Probably she got used to it. Thank God :)
Praise God. Maybe Shanna is now flight tested hahaha.
It is indeed challenging and helpless when the baby cry during ascent or descent. Was wondering whether there was a key factor in easing their condition or prevention.
