Updates

Time flies. My 2 month maternity leave is over and today I have started work again. In these 2 months, I have not accessed to my Outlook emails at all, sorry yah to those who may have been trying to contact me. I hardly went online as being fully occupied with Shanna, it was not in priority (yes, sleeping and eating were higher in priority when I had free time ;) ).

How are the Lee's as of today?

Timothy Lee aka Daddy:
- From not knowing how to hold a baby, Daddy now is adept at it and can put little Shanna to sleep, change her diapers and also is her BabyBjorn chauffeur.
- Still looks fresh and bright despite getting less rest now
- Has become very experienced in marketing for fresh meat and vegetables :)

Audrey Lee aka Mummy:
- Weighs 2-3kg more than 'original' (pre-baby)... but ok lar... can wear most of her old clothes
- Just did her hair last week, having time to do so since Shanna started at babysitter's
- Still breastfeeding exclusively, but struggling with aches in hand, wrists, neck and back due to all the hand massaging during milk expression. Also having problems with plugged ducts/infection every 2 weeks or so.
- Gets 4-5 hours (combined) of sleep a night, so not enough :p Thinking of taking the car instead of Daddy so that she can nap in the car during lunch hour :)

Baby Shanna Lee:
- almost 9 weeks old, weighs 4.3kg and length 55 cm... growth trending well according to growth chart
- had her first Dpth, Hep B, Polio vaccination last week
- did her first flip in week 7! Gave Mummy a shock to see her sleeping face up while Mummy remembered putting baby to sleep on her tummy.
- started to baby talk in week 7... combined with her facial expressions, one can tell whether she is squealing for joy, complaining or just chatting.
- smiles at everyone (including her ducky toy) when she is happy, usually after a good nap and feed. Also she is like her Daddy, usually bright and happy in the morning after waking up.
- loves to suck suck suck her milk. taking 4oz every 3 hours now.
- Babysitter is potty training her. Baby Shanna now wee wee in potty ~2-3 times a day at babysitter's. At home, Shanna wears disposables as Daddy & Mummy don't want to be burdened with extra laundry :p
