Blogging hiatus, missing CG, wedding events, church camp, visitations, even missing work on many days as a result of me being sick for the past 6-7 weeks. You may have guessed the answer- what other sickness but pregnancy sickness can last this long.
We're thrilled to be expecting a 2nd addition to our family by end of coming December or early January.
I said 'pregnancy sickness', not morning sickness as the nausea is throughout my waking hours every day since it started early week 6 until now which is almost week 13. This experience has been as bad or worse than when I was pregnant with Shanna, I guess this is how my body is wired. I was desperate and tried all brands of anti-nausea medication recommended by the doctor - Maxalon, Stemetil, Veloxin, but none worked... they all just made me drowsy :( There have been moments where I've felt despair, not knowing how to get through the day, and wishing I could skip pregnancy and just have the baby.
Thank God for a supportive family and boss at work. My hubby who cooked, cleaned, made sure I had food to eat and taking care of Shanna. The best mom in the world who came to Penang to cook for me and pampered us all. My dad who had to spend Father's Day alone in KL while mom and sis were with me. My boss who was understanding and allowed me to work half days with less work load. Last but not least, the sunshine of my life - Shanna, who brought smiles to my face at the toughest times with her ever cheerful talk and laughter.
Tim and I are very thankful that baby is growing healthily and while we don't have any expectations to the gender of this baby, we're curious to know and hopefully find out at the next doctor's visit :)

Congrats Audrey and Tim! Actually my hubby suspected that you were pregnant as there was no blog post for such a long time. He told me to wait and see, you would announce after the first trimester :) Hopefully you feel better in this second trimester. Take care ya.
Congratulations Audrey and Tim!! I was really wondering why you hadn't blogged in such a long time :) Hang in there with the "sickness", by 2nd trimester, i'm sure it'll go away. Prayers for you :)
Congrats! Our next conversations moving forward will be bout handling 2 kids :)
Congrats Tim & Audrey! Glad to hear that!! Welcome to the parenthood of 2. You will be expected the same time as my cousin too!!!
Try Zofran Wafers, this is the "miracle" pill or rather wafers I took during my pregnancy...when nothing works this work the best of the best. My friend who's the doc in KL told me you can get in Msia but it's quite costly...a superior pill they called it. But it helps to make us feel more sane and can enjoy the pregnancy better.
Angeline - Benson is very astute!
Vivien - thanks for the wishes & prayers.
Julia - I'll refer to you and other 'pros'
Ida - Will try the zofran if I find it. Thanks.
