Today, Ah Mah gave Shanna a banana.
Shanna (S): " Nana eating banana. Like gor-gor inside the book!"
S: " Oh no, banana got bone!!"
Mummy (M): " No bones in banana, Shanna"
S: "Bone in banana! you zhong zi (mandarin)"
M: "you zhong zi?" (translation - 'there are seeds')
S: "you zhong zi on top of banana! Nana bite down here"
S:" Dowan! Dowan!! Dowan banana! you zhong zi"
S: "Nana finished!"
M: "Shanna can eat the zhong zi, it's ok"
S: "No. Nana go home and throw away banana"
M: "Throw away banana?"
S: "Ya! At Pearl Garden"
Mummy ended up eating the remaining banana.

Awww...what a cute conversation:) i'm sure it's such a joy seeing your sweet little princess connecting with you on that level and she is able to express her thoughts so well now..wow....she knows the word 'zhong zi'. good job Tim and Audrey:) Keep it up!
