15 Months Old Milestones

I gave Mummy a surprise the day before I turned 15 months old.

As we were reading Peter and Jane book, after Mummy read to me about the ball, I pointed to the word 'ball'!
Mummy turned the next page, and asked me where's the word 'ball', I pointed to it again! The first word I can 'read' is 'ball' :)

I also recognize letter 'O' and number '1'. I can even sort of write '1' (Mummy calls it 'drawing'). I can also 'read' Mandarin Chinese characters - 'Gong gong' 'Por por', that is when asked which word is 'Gong gong / Por por' I can point to the right word. My Ah Mah (babysitter) taught me.

I am on my way to reading other numbers too. When Mummy shows me the cards with numbers, I can tell which card has which number, but Mummy isn't certain it's the number I'm reading or I remember by the pictures shown.

Last weekend I had great fun! My Grandma and Ah Yi came to visit me, so I was entertained to the max. We went out gai-gai a lot too and I was a happy little girl. Today I am a tired little girl :P

Mummy's notes about me @ 15 months:
- 6 teeth (4 upper, 2 lower)
- walks well but sometimes still loses balance
- loves eating 'adult food'
- likes to shake to music
- loves playing peekaboo and chase
- loves taking out all her books but not putting them back.
- still on 2 naps a day (10.30am/3pm)
- 3 meals a day, 3 times of milk a day (6oz)
