Satisfied with eoe

About a year ago, we discovered eoe online through our friend's blog. We were attracted by the concept of online photo printing and with the Blogger's program on that time, we decided pretty quickly to give eoe online a try. Check out our blog entry for the blogger's program 1 year ago here.

We were not disappointed. The photo upload service was easy to use, and we got our printed photos just a few days via courier service after we submitted the photos to print. The courier service used by eoe is surprisingly efficient. They called us to arrange for the suitable time for package delivery. All photos arrived in excellent condition.

Just a couple of months ago, we again decided to print more photos for our little Shanna's album. Since eoe online offered unbeatable price of RM0.30 per 4R photo, and RM0.50 for 5R, we used eoe online's service again. This time, we had more than 100 pieces of photos developed, so we didn't have to pay any shipping cost! All 100+ pieces of photos were exactly what we requested for, with the right multiple copies of certain photos.

The quality of the photos are quite good. Those that were developed 1 year ago and displayed in frames in our house are still in very good condition with no apparent fading.

Overall, we are happy to Buy Malaysian at eoe online :)

My short trip to Taiwan

It was a short 4 days business trip with 2 days in Taiwan and 2 days spent traveling.
What made it a good trip?
1. I went to the subcon. At subcons, we are always treated as VIP. The pressure is over on the other side :) We were treated to bubble tea every day :)

2. It was also my first trip overseas since I had Shanna, without having to lug around my breastfeeding gear and sticking to the schedule. So, I had more time to go out and more luggage space (better for shopping of course:)).

3. Going with colleagues who 'encouraged' me to try smelly toufu and duck's tongue... great experience! Some also knew the best places to eat in town, so lots of good food.

4. No earthquake experience this time round! Hehehe.

I like Taiwan for it's food. Very good taste, variety and reasonable price. No comment on sightseeing, because although this is my second time there, I never had the time to do much sightseeing.

Inevitably I missed home too, and couldn't wait to get back to see my baby! Hubby did a great job of taking care of Shanna. I got a totally different greeting from Shanna this time when I got back - indifference. As Grandma says, perhaps she just woke up in the morning and thought the past few days without Mummy was just a dream... or it could be that she was 'mad' with me? I'll never know, I guess.

Some pictures from Hsinchu, Taiwan.

More Random Pics

This is the nursery room in our church in KL, so many toys and Shanna still preferred the ball!

On the see saw with Chloe jie jie, Shanna had the last bite of her dinner in her mouth still.

This is why Shanna likes her Mickey mouse - the tail is so convenient.

Another part of Mickey which is her favourite. Good for us when in the airplane.

'Big bear, I like you'

'Bear bear is taller than me.'

Another trip to the Penang Butterfly Farm with grandma and ah yi

'Hello'? Shanna's reaction when seeing the handphone.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy (pretty delayed posting :P)

Books, books, books!

Doesn't Shanna look tall in this picture (at 16 months old)?

Mama... mama

Shanna keep calling for mummy in the evening before her bed time. She kept pointing at mummy's photo at the TV bench, which normally she wont do.

So, before she get too attached with the idea of having mummy and cry when she knows that mummy is not around, i diverted her attention to her bear, mickey mouse and books. I notice that she likes to play "masak-masak" now. i'm trying to capture the video of her trying to feed her mickey mouse and her bear bear. :D

I read her last book in her room and after that she went to her cot without fuss. Now i'm started to worry how to take her mickey mouse away from her next time so that she wont be too attached to it and need to bring it everywhere she goes. :(

Anyway, let's worry about that later when Audrey's back from Taiwan :D

p.s: this morning she went to the photo of mummy and keep calling for "mama mama"

Shanna missing mummy

Shanna 2 - Daddy -1 after half time. The first part here

Yesterday Shanna was missing mummy right at the moment when I was suppose to put her down to her bed. She was looking around and searching for mummy. She has been waiting patiently for mummy to show up while I'm reading her books, changing her to her pajamas, making her milk...etc.

So when she found out that mummy didn't turn out even at the moment she's going to bed, she decided to cry out loud. That was her second time crying in such a way.

So i brought her the trusty green sea turtle to calm her down -- failed

mickey mouse? -- failed

bear bear? -- failed

Peter and Jane book 2A? -- Okey woh :D

then i sat her at the sofa and let her rest on my tummy (soft n lemak :P)  while flipping through the books and let her look at all the pictures while singing to her. She's quite awake and didn't show any sign of wanting to sleep...

So i made a decision, bring her to the room and do the same while hoping that she'll fall asleep on the bed at least and that i can carry her and put her in the cot after that... minimizing the distance.

the moment i closed the book, she started to cry and wide awake again... :(

so we started all over again. Let her rest beside me while i'm flipping the book over and over and over and over and over and over again... lost count on hoe many time i flipped the book while she enjoying her green sea turtle and her handky and the book.

So finally, she turn to me and kissed me and wanting to get up while pointing her cot (I was VERY VERY surprise!Thank God for answering my prayer! :D). So nicely I put her into her cot with her mickey mouse and her green sea turtle and her handky and her pillow and her bolster... crowded! :D

Let's see how's thing goes tonight :)
